Organically grown Lemon Verbena from Morocco with a wonderfully refreshing taste.

Verbena tea is a traditional favourite with women in France. It has an antispasmodic and calming effect and a beguiling, lemony scent.

The variety is now becoming increasingly popular elsewhere and enjoyed by many tea-drinkers on a daily basis. The plant belongs to the verbena family (Verbenaceae). The tapered leaves are dried and cut. They contain around 0.5 percent essential oil with a delightful lemony fragrance. Although the plant is not hardy, it is also grown in Europe. However, we have selected the premium variety from organic cultivation in Morocco, where the lemon aroma is particularly prominent.
